Neé Wordstock Sketchbook

One of the pleasures of my lately adopted city of Portland is the annual Book Festival (previously Wordstock). Every year I go with Jackie and sit and listen to a bunch of authors talk about books and writing (and sometimes drawing – they always bring in quality graphic novelists). And I generally draw and doodle notes while I listen. So here are three sketchbook spreads from this year’s festival. I’m not always so great at getting authors names attached to their words, so my apologies about that. But I’ll detail the panels and panelists below.
